FOUNDER, CEO
DR. JILL SCHWIMMER has 12 years of extensive practical experience in the teaching of reading and writing and has done significant work with learners of all ages. Much of her professional life has been dedicated to teaching graduate students in teacher education programs, presenting seminars and workshops to educators and administrators, and privately tutoring struggling readers of all ages.
The passion, enthusiasm, and good humor she brings to her presentations provide an uplifting, exciting learning environment for seminar participants. She is a graduate of The Claremont Graduate University where she earned her doctorate in education.
Jill has presented at many reading conferences including the Oregon Reading Association, The Massachusets Title 1 Conference, The California Middle School Conference, The Association for Comprehensive Education, and many more. She has taught in the Teacher Education Program for Pacific University and the Northwest Christian University and has been a guest lecturer for the University of Oregon.
Jill won the right to represent the University of Oregon in an international business competition and returned in the summer of 2006 with 2nd place honors from the Association of Pacific Rim Universities Conference in Singapore because of her reading ideas and her presentation skills. She is determined to make a socially significant difference by supporting the creation of successful readers.

FOUNDER, DIRECTOR - Classroom Development
EILEEN ORSINI is a Title 1 Reading Specialist in an elementary school in Springfield, Oregon. She is also a member of the Springfield School district's literacy support teacher team. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 1989 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She later earned a Handicapped Learner endorsement and a Reading endorsement. Several years ago she established a Literacy Lab at her school using the Integrated Reading Method developed by Jill Schwimmer. Students made outstanding progress. In the fall of 2005, she began collaborating with Jill to adapt the Integrated Reading Method for small group sessions. The results were quick and exciting. Eileen was the inspiration for the creation of Score 4 Reading.

MANAGING DIRECTOR, COO
PAUL BERGER has over thirty years of entrepreneurial business management and development experience. He spent the first half of his professional career in Southern California as a founder and principal in a wide range of endeavors that include: Cre-Art Photo Labs, Inc. (Still photo services to the motion picture industry), Wilderness Concepts, Inc. (Recreational outerwear manufacturing), and The Video Box, Inc. (Retail video rental chain).
During the past seventeen years, Paul has worked with technology, education, healthcare and related knowledge-based companies in the Eugene, OR area in both executive management and business development roles. He held senior marketing positions with: Abracadata, Ltd., Palo Alto Software, SpecTech, Inc., and Language Learning Solutions, L.L.C. For a three-year period, Paul led Survey Resources, Inc., an emerging growth startup focusing on market research for medical practices. His recent consulting clients include: The Oregon Center for Applied Science, a behavioral health research firm; Concentric Sky, Inc., web development services focused on the higher education market; Rapid Path, Inc., web site prototyping; and Dune Sciences, L.L.C., material sciences product development.
Paul is a co-founder of the Lane County Chapter of the Software Association of Oregon and was the founder of the Lane Entrepreneurs Forum. He has served on the boards of the Software Association of Oregon and the Lane Metro Partnership (regional economic development organization). Paul holds a B.A. in Philosophy from California State University, Sonoma.

WEB DEVELOPER
JEAN ROGERS graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994 with a B.A. in English Writing, concentrating in magazine journalism. With AT&T Wireless Services, she began working on software integraton projects for the credit and activation department. Her contributions to multiple projects spanning departments and markets earned her the national Circle of Excellence award.
She left AWS in 1998 to achieve a certificate in publishing from the Denver Publishing Institute. After moving around the west coast and working for the AWS National Help Desk for a short period, she returned to Pittsburgh and worked for the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University for 6 years. Supporting the faculty, staff, research groups, and graduate students, she began working in the help desk and moved on to the PC engineering department, specializing in email and security. She attained wide-ranging tech skills in the highly heterogeneous environment of one of the best tech universities in the country. Since moving to Oregon, she has been acting as a consultant for several companies and individuals across the country, performing duties such as purchasing, OS and software installation and troubleshooting, website development and tech training.
